After thirty years of successful innkeeping, the Reiswigs were ready for a change and sold the property. The Airport is already fully operating with a runway of 5,750 feet and it’s facilitating tourism to the area because of the access. Melvi Davila, who worked with me on the Pachamanka party called me in 2019 and couldn’t find a location to host the Peru to the World Expo. I was happy to be able to help but we also needed to be mindful and respectful of all the Covid protocol that was in place at that time.
